5. Property Access and Customer Responsibilities

To perform tree work safely and efficiently, property owners and authorized clients agree to fulfill the following operational responsibilities:

  • Authorization: The individual requesting service represents and warrants that they are the legal owner of the property or possess full authorized legal power to order work on the specified trees.
  • Site Access: Clear, safe access to the work area must be provided for equipment, vehicles, and personnel during the scheduled service timeframe. Gates must be unlocked and pathways cleared of personal property, vehicles, outdoor furniture, and pets.
  • Underground Utilities: Texas law requires public utilities to be located prior to excavation or stump grinding. However, the client is responsible for identifying and marking private subsurface systems not mapped by public utility locators, including private irrigation lines, landscape lighting wires, invisible pet fences, and private septic lines.
